The Dept. of Surgery provides medical service by each specialty area, such as gastric surgery, colorectal surgery, hepabiliary and pancreatic surgery and breast and endocrine surgery, and is administering adjunct chemotherapy after cancer and other surgeries.
The diseases treated by each sub-department are as follows: Gastric surgery administers surgery for hemorrhaging caused by stomach and duodenal ulcer, benign tumors and malignant tumors. Colorectal surgery treats benign and malignant diseases occurring in the colon and rectum in addition to hemorrhoid and anal fistula around the anal passage. Hepabiliary and pancreatic surgery treats cholelithiasis occurring in the hepatobiliary tract and benign and malignant tumors in the liver, biliary tract and pancreas. Lastly, breast and endocrine surgery treats benign and malignant diseases occurring in the breast, thyroid glands, parathyroid and adrenal glands.
